Festivals and traffic jams
The "ganesh festival" is comming to an end .. Mammoth idols being towed to the seaface for their final destination... Along with all the pomp and festivity comes the imminent traffic jam .. Traffic in parts of mumbai has come to a virtual stand still .. Most of the offices around mumbai have shut down early ..The Roads will be full of people dancing away to the beat of heavy drums ..Color all over .. Whatever one may look at the whole thing as, Its a moment for which many mumbaikars eagerly wait. ...
I'm sitting on my desk as usual .. punching off this keayboard.. finally got video working on linux. Dealing with device drivers can be quite an effort.. That reminds me of the famous Linus torvald verse " When men were men and wrote their own device drivers" .
The end of the festival also brings the end of my stay in siddharth nagar. I plan to move in a better place in malad. Hope things will be fine :) .....
